INSURERS CHASE STANDARD COMMERCIAL LINES
|
A handful of carriers scramble to corner their fair share of the $36 billion commercial P&C market. Company Removed will roll out several new commercial package enhancements in two expansion states this fall while Company Removed improves its BOP with a Green upgrade. Regional insurer Company Removed seeks a 6 percent rate decrease in California, a change that could bring in new accounts. Company Removed takes the wraps off enhanced covers for its niche Blue Chip Policy and standard commercial package policy. The carrier peppers its Blue Chip Policy with new endorsements for educational institutional legal liability and Internet security. The standard CPP gets a facelift with the addition of Internet liability and coverage for utility services with overhead transmission and distribution. These enhancements are in place in most of the 37 states where Company Removed operates. Look for the carrier to introduce all of its commercial lines coverage in Oregon and Connecticut when it enters those states during the second half of the year.
