ENTICING DEVELOPERS WITH PERKS
|
Cities and counties approve rezoning changes and dramatically lower development fees to attract developers and get construction moving. The York County Board of Supervisors lets Company Removed rezone 14 acres in Virginia, while the Company Removed in St. Charles, Ill., rezones a parcel where an old mall once stood. The Company Removed puts zoning in place for a 13.5-acre mixed-use project in Georgia and Company Removed moves forward after rezoning approval with a mixed-use in O’Fallon, Miss. Company Removed officials think ahead of the game in Ohio and rezone 283 acres in hopes of attracting new development, and Company Removed does the same with 50 acres in Louisiana.
